Simon Holmes is a Director and Portfolio Manager in the Multi-Asset team. He joined Columbia Threadneedle through the acquisition of BMO GAM (EMEA) in 2021, having previously been with BMO since September 2007. Simon has experience across credit, foreign exchange, fixed income, equities and alternatives. In previous roles, Simon has worked at McKinsey & Co., Salomon Smith Barney, Barclays Capital and Daiwa, after starting his career at Tokyo-Mitsubishi in 1996. He has a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Durham and an MBA from INSEAD Business School. He is also a CFA charterholder.
