Visiting existing portfolio companies and potential new inclusions, their visit underlines the importance of ‘on the ground’ research and insights driven by ‘soft impressions,’ near on impossible to garner from a desk in London. They discuss the effects of increasing digitalisation, which is extending from the consumer facing side to supply chains, and the size of the opportunity for those companies that are able achieve a pan-India footprint.
