Sonya Dilova is Director in the Global Credit team at BMO EMEA. She joined the team in 2018 as an analyst specialising on Emerging Markets and corporate strategy. She previously worked in the emerging market debt team as a portfolio manager. She joined the company in 2006. Prior to that, she worked at Fitch Ratings for four years, where she was the lead analyst on Russian and European metal and mining companies. Sonya has also worked as an Equity Analyst in the Emerging Markets team at Société Générale in London. She received her PhD in Eastern European Studies from the University of Birmingham in 2000, following a period spent working at the Bulgarian Foreign Investment Agency. Sonya speaks fluent Russian and Bulgarian.
