Rochus Appert joined BMO Global Asset Management in 2015 as a Senior Sales Director for the German speaking Swiss wholesale market. Prior to joining the firm Rochus spent 10 years with State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) serving as Head of the Intermediary Business and Head of SPDR ETFs in Switzerland. Before SSgA he was Head of Mid/Small Cap M&A at Credit Suisse Private Bank. He started his career at UBS followed by WestLB where he was a Senior Project/Structured Finance specialist financing power plants, toll roads and water distribution/treatment plants.

Rochus holds a Master Degree in Finance from the University of Zurich and a degree as a Certified Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager of IIFA. He is fluent in English, French and German.
