Our investors are able to manage their investments with us through our online service, myThreadneedle. It provides instant password protected access to your investments with us, 24 hours a day, at a time convenient for you.

  • Make a transaction - make a new investment, top-up an existing investment, redeem or switch your holdings to another fund. Please note that you can only transact on myThreadneedle if you are a direct customer (i.e. you don't transact via a financial adviser)
  • View your transaction history - providing details of the transactions you have made.
  • Check the value of your investments - access the latest value of your holdings in the My Investments section. View your valuation over different time periods as a total valuation as well as viewing it by product or asset class.
  • Compare our funds - within the Fund Selector section you are able to compare up to 10 different Columbia Threadneedle funds.
  • Plan for an investment goal - no matter what your investment goals are, My Plans enables you to create investment plans to see how much you should consider investing in order to achieve them.

Activating your account
To link your current investments with us to your myThreadneedle account you will need an activation code which you can request by calling us on 0800 953 0134* (Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm).

Once you have received your activation code, to activate your account you will also need your client reference number which can be found on recent correspondence from us.


myInvestments iPad app

Once registered for myThreadneedle, you can download the myInvestments app to view your portfolio of investments with us whenever you like.

You can view your portfolio as a whole or by account (e.g. ISA, JISA or General Investment Account) and see how your portfolio has performed over time. In addition, you can also view the transactions you have made on your portfolio, including new investments, transfers and withdrawals.

Please note: you cannont make transactions on the app.

Your security is very important to us. We have a number of controls in place which are designed to protect our clients from fraud. These include information we will obtain from you when you register for the service, which will be used to identify you when you make transactions or change your details.
